No, this isn't just the usual talk about people leaving for the office early when the kids are still sleeping and then returning home late when the kids have already gone to bed.

It's about the quality of life you are giving your children.

Such conversations can be tough to listen to, believe me.

These days, too much time is spent on surviving and just keeping up that people forget to sit down and weigh the consequences of their actions.

A faulty career choice doesn't just frustrate you: it limits the opportunities available to your kids.

Think about that.

Again, what lessons are we subtly giving our children about how the world works?

We could preach all we want but our children are watching our actions.

If we live our lives slaving away for money, sacrificing time with the family for the so-called "daily bread", why do we get shocked when our kids end up doing anything for the money?
