GEJ meant good for this Nation but was surrounded by selfish n self centred individuals.

He tried honouring MKO by naming UNILAG after him but was resisted n repelled by the school's community.

I still like GEJ despite all his inadequacies

Buhari 2019; Igbo Presidency 2023!

Sorry for you, if you think the presidency will be handed to you like a plate of akpu....

Where will the votes come from? The Northerners you insult day, and night, or the Southwesterners?

You need years of laundry to clean up your political career....

Am not a politician and am not campaigning for anybody as well as any party but the truth remains the truth Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is a good man ...with great respect for the rule of law..

He said his political ambition is not worth spilling the blood of any Nigerian.

Let's check it as president he was the grand commander of the Federal Republic and even when he was defeated during the 2015 general election choose to announce it even before it was officially announced..he might choose not to leave and things will go south ..

As a president he has the yam and the knife and can decide to cut the yam anywhere he deem fit ...worse case scenario souls will perish.

I was really touched by his display/show of humility which is hard to find these days among our politicians ..

He is not clueless as people always say but a selfless and respected politician and an elder stateman.

My opinion ...

Weldone sir..Mr Jona.

He was resisted by the opposition led by tinubu who claimed that goodluck was trying to curry favour from the south west. Is it not the same thing that buhari is doing.

Buhari by extension I would say yes. Irrespective of the opposition, he would still gave garnered handsome votes from SE but might not be as much as he got 3yrs ago

Rubbish
With the kind of hatred for GEJ even if he had done same for MKO these people wouldn't have been rejoicing the way they are hypocritically doing now .

GEJ is too clever not to take an action that will generate a lot of controversy like we are seeing now. Buhari a dullard only did it in his desperate bid to curry favour

Enough with this June 12 rubbish. It's no more important than August 11 1979 when the first presidential election held in Nigeria.
It's not more important than 27 Feb 1999 when presidential elections were held many years after Buhari and his band of renegades truncated the second republic.

People forgot that without Dec 31 1983 there wouldn't have been June 12. How a man who truncated our march to democracy and brought the nation to her knees is now being celebrated for this which ostensiyia a Greek gift amuses me.

Talking about missing history or whatever, GEJ immortalized Abiola in the best and most honourable way, naming a national institution after him which was resisted by the opposition.
How would the next generation of Nigerians know there was a man named Abiola if not through the immortalizing him?
How many people will remember Abiola is a GCFR after next year?
Tafawa Balewa, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, Ahmad Bello, Micheal Okpara all had universities named after them. Murtala Mohammed, Nnamdi Azikiwe has national airports named after them, that to me is the best way to immortalized our great heroes, so Mr Buhari should go a step further and name a national institution after him.

GEJ did his best for Abiola but for pure and petty hatred was resisted.

You don't need Yoruba votes to win. I am tired of saying this

OBj didn't need it before he won twice.

The fact that Buhari needed it was because he had no other southern base.

Great respect of the law u said!!! undecided..ur a hypocrite, phoney and a two faced pretender

it seems that ur likes are clearly suffering from amnesia or certain brain issue that beclouds ur sense if reasoning

You people have leaking brains;
1. GEJ seized newspapers one morning in 2014 in Gestapo style.
2. GEJ flooded Ekiti State with Army battalions to rig in Fayose.
3. GEJ withdrew Amaechi's security.
4. GEJ laid siege to Kano Emirate to prevent SLS becoming King.
5. GEJ killed 3 of Elzakzaky's sons in cold blood.
6. GEJ resurrected OPC to terrorize Lagos residents.
7. GEJ fought card reader with all his might.
8. GEJ postponed general elections under false pretence.
9. GEJ ordered Ngozi to release $2.1bn to Dasuki without NASS approval.

if this is not toga of tyranny, then pls state ur definition of trynnity..u ipob flat.heads are hypocrites, that is all u are,u tend to twist facts and figures to whatever suites ur agenda

Goodluck jonathan was powerless against Buhari building up to the election bcuz the spotlight and attention were on them to the extend that the US and UK secretary had to come to Nigeria calm down the tension arising,if anything had happened to Buhari,BH would have been child's play

GEJ had no choice but to hand over the mantle of leadership after losing,if not,the Gbagbo of ivory coast and jamal yahya of Gambia treatment awaits him

GEJ is no hero! he was just smart enough to accept defeat to avoid being booted out by U.N. troops like what happened in Gambia and IC
