Heavy rain yesterday left City College Owerri in a shadow of itself. the college that was recently constructed and commissioned by Rochas administration was swept away by the rain.

The ugly incident caused a serious panic in the neighborhood, when the iron logging and the roof of the building where completely pulled off from the building destroying many power lines, trapped many vehicles and blocked the entire street.

Many residents attributed the incidents to low quality job, however, close observation shows the iron logging was indeed made of low quality materials.
