If you live in Edo State, then the Edo Innovation Hub might just be the next best thing since sliced bread for you, especially if you’re interested in tech and here’s 5 reasons why:

#1. When ever the Government supports tech innovations, i’m always overjoyed, kind of like the guys dancing up there.

As it turns out, the Obaseki-led Edo State government has announced plans to launch a state-funded innovation hub via its skills development body, EDOJOBS to support the State’s fledging tech ecosystem.

#2. Word has it that it’s supposed to serve as a startup Accelerator, Incubator and Co-working space to be housed at the Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) in Benin, which is currently under renovation.

#3. The Edo Innovation Hub won’t be walking alone as it turns out. Siemens, Tech4Dev, Microsoft, Impact Hub, Curators University (an American University) and Hotels.ng, among others are reported to also be in cahoots.
