'Unity' my black arrse!! Keep on burying your head in the sand you hear! Whatever bickering you see on here is only a reflection of what's happening in the real world! Or you think you can sweep your problems as a country under the carpet an pretend they don't exist? The moment we stop pretending and sit down to really thrash out the issues facing us, that is the moment you'll see all this hate and fake attestations of love and unity disappear for good! As a Igbo man, i get frustrated and annoyed when i see two-faced peeps that at best are suspicious and intolerant of my people, yet the thought of restructuring or dissolving this contraption (so they can be rid of these 'pests' for good) isn't an option they're willing to consider! 14 Likes 4 Shares |

This thread is strictly for those who support the unity of Nigeria. I stand for unity! Please u must not comment if u don't support the thread. I'm from Umuahia, Abia state. Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa we are one. I'll advice the FG to remove state of origin from any form u have to fill in Nigeria |

joeokoriem: Am truly sorry to burst your bubble but Nigeria has never been One right from her inception. It's not One extantly and will never be One ( considering the amount of water that has since passed under her bridge) even if we continue like this for another century The sooner we stop perambulating and smell the blasted coffee, the better for our unborn generations. As for restructuring-forget it. The north will never relinquish her vice-like grip on the centre without an almighty jihad/war. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

The tribal noise makers have come again, is the problem of SE n SS caused by the average Yoruba girl selling pure water? or by corrupt leaders from all parts of the country. 1 Like |

Re: The Unity Thread by KratosCorp: 5:03pm On Jun 12, 2018 |
You are so deluded if you think that unity is possible in Nigeria. 1. Nigeria was NOT designed for unity. It was designed for EXPLOITATION. There's no other country in the world that is as diversely complicated and self-contradictory as Nigeria is. This is a country that had 2 ethno-religious massacres BEFORE her independence. And it quickly crashed into a bloody genocidal civil war within the first 7 years after the independence. 2. The first step to unity is the unconditional liberty to reject the unity proposal. You CANNOT force anyone into a union. A forced unity is an oppression, pure and simple - and it will never last because the human spirit is a free moral agent that abhors all forms of oppression. 3. So when you say that the unity of Nigeria is not negotiable, you are in effect saying that the Nigeria contraption is a crime against humanity. fero007: 7 Likes |

LZAA: Na u know o, me I'm from Delta, ve lived in Warri nw living in Port harcourt, any deltan can try to confirm this. America was nt designed for unity either but they got along, my people have suffered the most in this country and need and want restructuring far more than the Igbos. But why will I be friends with a person, then one day suddenly hate her cus I learnt she's Hausa or Yoruba. Our grandfathers were enemies, does that mean we can't be allies? |
Re: The Unity Thread by fero007: 5:36pm On Jun 12, 2018 |
KratosCorp: I agree that unity should not be forced, if any region wants to be free they should be allowed to be. But if we can try to live as one, I bet you we can benefit far more than as individual nations. I know this seems like a child's dream but south Africa, america, Japan all looked like children's dreams b4 they were realized |

Re: The Unity Thread by fero007: 11:13pm On Jun 12, 2018 |
LZAA: america was nt meant to be united, it was meant to be a British goldmine and slavedump. they had to unite themselves to achieve the goal of defeating Britain, if they were truly united there won't ve been a civil war, and Indians won't have attacked constantly. Same way Nigerians must come 2geda as one to defeat bad leaders cause that's our real problem, not one tribe |

Re: The Unity Thread by kingzizzy: 11:58pm On Jun 12, 2018 |
fero007: There is a difference between America and Nigeria. America is a country of immigrants. Different people from all over the world came and settled in America Nigeria is a country of indigenous people. Yoruba/Igbo/Hausa were all living in their respective areas before the British brought all of them together in 1914. So who is this Nigerian you are talking about? The people the British brought together? If all we have in common is that the white man brought us together then we don't have anything in common. The best th8ng would for all of us to return to the way we were before the white man came having seen that Nigeria is a tried and failed colonial experiment 4 Likes 1 Share |
