The Super Eagles of Nigeria have begun the final stage of preparations for their FIFA world cup opening game against Croatia.

The Eagles held their first training session today following their arrival late last night in Russia where they proceeded to the team's base in Essentuki.

Fans and locals in Essentuki turned out in their large numbers to see the Super Eagles train for the first time.

There was also an autograph session as the players took time out to sign autographs and take selfies with the excited fans.
