BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER Job Purpose The Business Development Officer is accountable for revenue growth, customer acquisition and customer relationship management within the company. Job Description The Business Development Officer shall be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Facilitates the flow of operational information to ensure effective execution of contracts. Assist with evaluating new opportunities for additional revenue from new and existing clients by analyzing requirements, potential for revenue growth and evaluating options whilst maintaining company priorities. Identify and capture additional revenue opportunities, regularly provides market intelligence and carry out market research as required. Proactively manage relationships with existing clients and develops relationships with new clients. Communicate effectively with clients, peers, superiors, and other company personnel. Protect the company's values by keeping information confidential. Maintains excellent relationships with all stakeholders of the business. Update job knowledge by taking advantage of educational opportunities; professional development activities and maintaining a sound professional network. Enhance organization's reputation by accepting ownership for delivery of new requirements to clients; and always exploring opportunities to add value to our client's customer experience. Qualifications Knowledge of Offshore vessel types and their mode of operations. Proven track record in sales ideally overachieving on targets and acquiring new business Strong prospecting skills and extensive customer facing experience Sound commercial aptitude with a result oriented approach to work Must be well organized and demonstrate good attention to detail Must be self motivated and able to work under extreme pressure Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation) Must be task oriented with ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Able to use computer hardware and software including MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Proficient in the use of internet for research. Minimum Qualification Bachelor's Degree/HND REMUNERATION N80000 - 100,000 per Month 40 hours a week role - Monday to Friday 4% pension scheme Plus range of allowance, incentives and bonuses SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for planning and managing the overall sales and marketing of the organisation's products and services, maximizing revenue and profit objectives. Responsibilities: Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reporting, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required Survey, review and analyze competition, market trends, customer needs and comments in order to be proactive and adapt with business intelligence Develops new plans and programs and determine the effectiveness of current plans and programs Manage/direct all advertising, public relations and promotionals Actively participates in sales presentations, property tours and customer meetings Manages performance issues that arise within the Sales teams Effectively communicates with other departments Conducts a daily briefing with department on current key activities Anticipate and address customer issues and establish proactive processes to promote customer satisfaction Ability to create and manage search engine optimization Exhibits strong digital marketing skills by driving social site Work towards Increasing revenue Trains the team to use the appropriate sales pitches and supervises implementation Ensures the brand and/or Group's loyalty program is promoted to customers Ensures the team applies the organisation's coordination policy to encourage synergy within the marketplace Ensures high standards of service and the fulfillment of the brand's quality promise Requirements: HND/Bachelor’s degree in Sales Management, Business Management, Economics, Finance or in any related field Minimum of 1 year Sales management experience Relevant training or Certifications in a related field of Sales and Marketing Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex activities and/or information in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches Must have the ability to understand global markets that affect the business of mobile financial services Must have strong decision-making skills Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and manipulative abilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative Computer skills (word, excel, and PowerPoint), etc. Strong skills in digital marketing Remuneration N80,000 - 100,000 per Month 40 hours a week role - Monday to Friday 4% pension scheme Plus range of allowance, incentives and bonuses Applicants should send their Resume to info@meradindustries.com using the post applied for as the subject of the email.For more info visit us at www.meradindustries.com.
