on the fateful evening of 16th june, rain started falling with ice, is was cool as usual, it stops for a break and continues, suddenly, wind started blowing, trees and electric poles falling, roofs flying... it was so fearsome... my friends from Jigawa and Kano states said it happened there too. this is nothing but the secondary effects of cutting down trees for cooking charcoal and firewood without replacements as the price of kerosene keeps hiking. a word is enough for the wise because this government is not thoughtful toward this kinda things, they are only good at what will bring them money.
