When did Japan start playing soccer? Just a few years ago. Yet, they are now defeating South American giants! Africa has been playing but our dear African countries only win at junior levels! Why? I guess you have the answer! We need very young players developed from the grassroot and encouraged to keep playing till they mature their games. Let us stop parading tired players! We call them 'young' but are they all that young? I wish they can spend half of the 'advanced bonus' on very young players like CHANNELS is doing! And help to build facilities and also plan long term! I was shouting 'Super Eagles' will win until I saw Japan, Brazil, Denmark, England, Belgium etc...... Boy, now I have my doubts o! Let them prove us wrong. Nigeria is parading a lot of tired legs. Please come back and prepare truly young and talented boys and keep them in training for 4 years! Till then, we may just continue this empty noise we are now fond of making every times there is World Cup! All the best to our 'boys' all the same. |
