@Dove finger Good question! I keep wondering myself why the majority of SUVs on sale on NL are Murano's. This is becoming a dangerous trend for potential lovers of murano. |

most muranos have gear problems and most users try to sell them off whn the problems develop,,but this one doesnt, u could take it to any gd repairer to confirm, if u re really interested |

Thanks a lot for that information. I may have to change my mind on my dream car, MURANO if it will give me gear problem which is very vital and can mess one up at a very dangerous place. Why not look for a less problematic ride? |

trust mii bruv, these days any model could have have transmission(gear) problems, not just muranos, but if u re interested in this u can be rest assured it doesnt have any of such, its in a gd condition. |

Just to clear the air on Muranos, I am a Murano user and I own the 2003 model which people say is the most problematic. The truth is the gear is sensitive because its CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), not auto transmission. A lot of people make the mistake of putting in normal auto transmission fluid into the car which messes it up. It also requires proper professional servicing, not through roadside mechanics. Asides from that, I can tell you there is no problem with the car. If the gentleman here is selling this one and its in good condition, I would advise whoever has half interest to grab it fast. I have been using mine since and intend to buy the new model whenever I can afford it. |

You cant go wrong with Eneos Transmission Fluid. And Alliance Autos is a good option for service of the car, they should also change the CVT fluid for you, dont do it yourself |
