Nigerian rapper, Olamide has revealed it is ok to be selfish and not share all your wealth just to help others.

According to him, human needs are endless.

He said:

Oyinbo say Selfishness is the beginning of sledgehammer. A cheerful giver cannot have akojor. if not dangote go done share all him
money give us to solve Nigeria problem, but human needs are endless. Taink you! I de go hustle my own bah …. I done go

When a fan told him was: ‘we rise by lifting
others’, he replied by saying that he is not yet in the position to do that.

These shameless fans won't stop stalking and their disgracing their generations on Twitter/Instagram.

Why can't this energy be channeled on politicians? A typical Nigerian follows at least 10 celebrities on Twitter/Instagram to beg, stalk and post those crushing nonsense, but won't follow their political representatives both at the state and federal levels.

Why won't politicians loot your destinies?

That's the sad reality. Aids, grants, etc are not the ideal solution to poverty. Nigeria as a country has received more aids from China more than any other African country. More from International bodies, nations and individuals such as Bill Gates, yet the standard of living has continued to deteriorate.

Human capital development is the ONLY way. The last time Bill Gates mentioned this in Nigeria, people like Hell Rufai refuted his claims. Individuals should be able to fend for themselves. This is what we all should demand from the political forces.

Good point

Or even better: why can't they channel their energies to making themselves be in the position to help others?

Must other people always have the monopoly of helping?
