Ivory Coast has fallen apart.

The second ball was handball. End of story.

Yes, the better team is winning, but that call ruined Ivory Coast's morale.

Elano. it's all over.

Africans and their blame game. CIV's poor defence is responsible for their loss to brazil. simples

There is no passion in the players. That is what usually happens when you have a foreign coach.

Is it true that Brazil has never lost to an African side at the senior level?

Not true. For example they lost 1:0 to Cameroon back in 2003 at the Confederations Cup with a brilliant Eto'o goal.

why is fifa against instant replay?

get some instant replay. most sports are doing it.   this could eliminate some of these referee mistakes.

yup it all boils down to an evil white coach. did the senegalese team of 2020 have a local coach? was westerhof a local coach?

Nigeria still remain one of the best african team. Atleast Argentina didnt slaughter us this way, Ivory coast is not even making any effort with 3goals down

Lucio is by a long stetch the best defender in the world. I haven't seen him have an awful game this season i.e 2009/10

stop blaming referee for poor performance. . .3-0
So because a  team is performing poorly , the ref should assist the performing team to cheat? abi? That must be logic made in Nigeria.

If you watch Invictus, you would realize the importance of passion, and how a coach can motivate his players to go to war for one's country. How can an European coach motivate African players to go out and play for the cause of Africans, or to go out and play for national pride?

I'm sorry, but the goal for 2:0 did destroy the game. Unfair call no matter how you look at it.

ivory coast must beat north korea by a wide margin or else portugal goes through

its a good thing to be optimistic, but i think ivory coast is as good as gone

Brazil has started playing samba. Can CIV re-group upfront and get at least a goal in this game? Their defence has been very, very  poor.

Poor ref decision has become a part and parcel of footie. there's no excuse for any ambitious team to dwell on it, you simply pick yourself up and play well

CIV have been mediocre from start to finish in this match.

in a close game, screams of unfairness makes more sense but not in the case of this lack luster display of yet another african country

CIV are going home because I can't see portugal beating brazil in their final match and CIV thrashing north Korea. maybe the latter is realistic, but I can't

bet on the former
