It is so absurd and barbaric that Nigerian banks will just hold you to ransom to update your account at the prime of a transaction without hitherto calling, email or sms you with a deadline to do such.

Banks are to pre-inform customers with a deadline about providing identifications, utility bills and passports. Instead, what is convenient for them is to refuse you transaction on your account out of the blue on a particular day you appear to perform a transaction unless you update the said account:SMH
