Very few artists are able to break cultural and geographic boundaries, if u have solid talent people like SONY Music put u on the world map. Don't get it Twisted SONY put wizkid on the continental Map and he shud be eternally greatful cos he was successful to a large extent unlike Davido that worked his was locally here to get himself out there.


My hope is that we will one day produce MUSIC of world class Standard that transends borders and WINs Grammys.

Now when davido went global he failed woefully. In fact he flopped mightily and was only relevant again when he came back to his local level.



Wizzy on the other hand despite making music for international audience had more features in naija and Africa than davido who concentrated more on local. Had almost the same amount of awards and still sitting on his throne
