Was the debt incurred in generating the income out of which the tithe is to be paid? if so, settle debt first. If not pay tithe first. Certain debts or expenses are tithe deductible. |

Tithing is not a christian obligation, as a christian you are not required to tithe in the first instance and pastors only preach tithing through twisting of the scriptures to enrich themselves or their church.
