quote author=TylerDurden post=68739605]The problem with Soyinka is that he is the least honest person in Nigeria today. His civil liberties advocacy is all a ruse and his personal hatred for Obasanjo stems from the fact that he (Soyinka) and his marxist movement was jettisoned by the British in place of the Military option which Obasanjo benefited from.

Soyinka was and still is an MI5 agent of destabilization.

He was recruited and indoctrinated with Marxist ideology by the MI5 during his school years.

His Pyrate Confraternity was supposed to be an offshoot of the satanic Masonic lodge and their primary role was to instigate a Marxist revolution to bring about the collapse of the regional govt arrangement in order to install a powerful central govt which they intended to control like a secret society.

One of Soyinka's earliest comrades was Emmanuel Ifeajun who was a student alongside Wole Soyinka at University College, Ibadan.

Nzeogwu was the head of the Jan 15 coup plot but Ifeajun was the radical ideologist who inspired the coup. In short, Nzeogwu was like Fidel Castro and Ifeanjun was like Che Guevara of the Cuban revolution. This is why Soyinka was able to have contacts with the Biafran forces before the war.

Also consider that Nzeogwu and Ifeanjun never wanted Biafra but wanted a united Nigeria under a powerful central govt and Ifeanjun had been negotiating secretly with the Nigerians towards sabotaging Biafran secession and that is why he was duly executed by Ojukwu. Soyinka was the one that vouched for Ifeanju during the secret negotiations with the Nigerian govt.

Soyinka is naturally pained that he never got to have his marxist revolution and he emerge as the communist leader of a socialist "one Nigeria" and all that frustrations was and still is compounded by the rise of the semi-educated Khaki boys (especially Obasanjo) over his pompous commie ass.

Go and die you miserable piece of sh!t

You know nothing boy. Wole Soyinka, a spy for M15 tasked with the conversion of Nigerians to the Marxist way of thought ?? Really? M15 and Marxism?? Have you gone nuts.

If you had said he was a spy for the Soviet KGB, i might have given it a thought there, but you just linked a very unrepentantly Capilalist clandestine operational organization to a Communist/Socialist school of thought. It shows how EDUCATED you are. It's just like insinuating that the KGB collaborated with Soyinka to preach Capitalism to Nigerians.do you even know Marxism gave birth to Socialism and the idea state ;Communism?

When they tell you guys to go to school, you'll tell your parents you want to sell spare parts in Alaba.

Post No Bill

he's whole post was contradictory. Imagine the British pushing a Marxist Agenda lmao. That's the most retarded thing I've heard on the internet today.

People read a little of something and decide they have Superior knowledge on that subject. Dumbo

If OBJ movement can unseat this govt, Soyinka should please allow him. It is better than being under a government that values the lives of cows more than human lives. If Soyinka does not have an option, he should please keep quite.

Say whatever u like, Buhari has done better than ur ineffectual Buffon that was sent packing in 2015..

Better by using his terrorists group herdsmen to kill thousands everyday for you..

By increasing the sufferings of the Masses.

By sacking civil servants.

By the mismanagement of the economy.

By the extreme monumental mass looting of the nation's Treasury.

Your brains was replace with garri and sand so you reason like a swine.

Not everyone wants to lead in the capacity of a president. Soyinka has led protests in and out of Nigeria. Abacha sentenced him to death in absentia when Soyinka joined Saro Wiwa to fight for the Ogoni cause. Soyinka went to prison and was in solitary confinement for identifying with the Biafran cause. He was also the first to mention the Asaba massacre when everyone else was afraid to do so. Soyinka has done his part. Even in his 70s, he joined walking protests and pressurized the cabal to allow Goodluck Jonathan act as president. What else do you want the man to do for Nigeria? Even at his age, he is still doing what none of you so-called youths can have the courage to do. OBJ is a coward when compared to others like Soyinka, Fela and Fawehinmi.
good analysis, but Nigeria is not yet better so someone has to do more and if soyinka is tired let him allow obj who is not tired to continue till Nigeria gets better.

You don't understand. Soyinka is not tired of activism. All he is saying is that a recovery process cannot happen under a hypocrite like OBJ.

Below is a portion from Soyinka's words. Pay attention to the parts I highlighted:

“I have brought out a publication about that, the title is in Latin but it means; who watches the watchmen. That publication is coming out simply because I will like to see new blood in governance in this nation and I think these corrupt and hypocritical geriatrics should stop recycling themselves and they should stop trying to co-opt their former cronies to take over the reigns of governance in this nation.”

ok let him point a way because as it is today we have no direction and these old rulers are staying put. I just want to see a clear direction from the old ways.
