Women in Saudi Arabia are allowed to drive from today, ending a ban that stained its reputation, kept women subjugated and hindered economic growth. The move places Saudi women at the centre of a major transformation being spearheaded by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. There is also a tug-of-war between those agitating for more openings for them and a religious majority that remains wary of changes that could be influenced by the West. Women in Saudi Arabia are able to drive for the first time ever as part of a historic move by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Female drivers have been practicing in the run-up to the driving ban that was lifted at midnight local time in Saudi Arabia. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5878321/amp/Women-hit-road-Saudi-Arabia-Female-motorists-celebrate-end-countrys-driving-ban.html Lalasticlala, Mynd44 2 Likes

Racer Aseel Al Hamad marked the end of the ban on women drivers in Saudi Arabia with a special drive in a Jaguar F-TYPE. A moment to celebrate for female drivers who have their licenses as they are finally able to drive in their country. Women were asked to put on goggles that impaired their vision, to understand the effects on driving from medication, drowsiness or drunkenness. Then they had to pilot a small wheel on the end of a pole across a map on the ground while paying attention to streets, stop signs and pedestrians. There was also a brief talk about road safety, car accidents and the huge number of them caused by texting at the wheel. 1 Like

A Saudi woman seen practicing to reverse a car in Riyadh back in April ahead of the lifting of a driving ban. A potential female driver is taught by another woman using a simulator car at a training centre in Riyadh. Practice has taken many forms, with some women, seen here, putting on helmets to try go-karting at an educational driving even in Jeddah.

So I can now travel to Riyadh, Jedda or Mecca and have a Saudi woman suck my dick? Still, can Saudi women twerk at a concert in front of the wahhabis? Though they're now allowed to drive, but write this somewhere, the Saudi oligarchs will still not allow their women to be a professional taxi driver, neither would a Saudi husband allow his wife to drive him around. #Shithole country |

The joy on the faces of those women can't be compared to anything. Nice move by their government. There shouldn't have been a ban in the first place. The world is changing, and these strict regulations imposed by religions from the dark ages will all be lifted soon. They look cute behind the wheel. |

nice one, but the why the ban in The first place. women are realy suffering in such countries as saudi arabia. even during their last game against egypt in the world cup, people were holding sign with the inscrption, that they should allow their women acces into their stadiums. I was shocked to see it, so their women can't enter their stadiums to whatch a football match in this 21st century. |
