NFF and Sports Ministry Officials are having a field day here in Russia. Many Nigerians fans have been stranded because the officials horded the tickets and refused to pay hotel bills of the fans that they brought to Russia. They are busy playing politics and tribalism with the whole process. I wouldn't be surprised if they have succeeded in bribing the few Nigerian journalists that raised concern about the anomaly. Many Nigerians were locked out their hotel rooms because of many days payment of bills.

World football governing body, FIFA revealed the identity of the centre referee who officiated the match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Albiceleste of Argentina in the last group stage match of the 2018 World Cup.
The game, which was played at the St Petersburg Stadium by 7pm Nigerian time, which Argentina later emerged winners.
