"Agonies fall on human beings because they do not know what they should know and do not love whom they should love"

"Our heart is fundamentally more corrupt than all things."
(Jeremiah 17:9)

Yet we cannot recognize our wicked selves, for we are too self-righteous.

When we truly realize our limitations - that we cannot become righteous by ourselves and we will go to hell for our sins - then we cannot but rely on the redemption of Jesus.

Does a person commit sin because he/she wants to sin? We humans commit sin as the servants of sin because we were naturally born with sin, because all our sins have not been blotted out yet, and because we are yet to die through the body of Jesus Christ. We sin, though we do not wish to do so. Everyone must therefore receive the forgiveness/remission of sin.

"When we honestly look at ourselves, we all know that none of us could help but be condemned for our sins. Put differently, once you truly discover your sins, you are compelled to admit to God that you yourself are destined to face death.
HOWEVER
God our Father sent His Son Jesus Christ to this earth as our Saviour, made Him accept all our sins once and for all by being BAPTISED by John the Baptist, and let Him be condemned for our sins by being crucified and shedding His BLOOD on the Cross while shouldering the sins of the world"

(Romans 8:1)
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Jesus has Saved Everyone From Sin and Made all Sinless

But You Still Have Sin.
Simply Because You Lack The Knowledge Of Truth.

Human thinking can never solve the problem of death nor is it necessary for the salvation of people, just faith in the Word of God.
"In order to receive salvation, we must jump over our framework of thinking by believing in the Word"

1Co 1:21

For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the FOOLISHNESS of the MESSAGE PREACHED, to save those who believe.

HAVE YOU NOT YET REALISED THE VANITY OF THIS LIFE?
For human beings, this world is like a morning mist, that is, a temporary place to stay and live, and after this await judgment. Therefore, what’s important is not how much we prosper in this world, but what comes after our death—that is, whether we are embraced into God's arms or cast out into hell. The truth is that what comes after one’s life in this world is far more important than this present life.
You must remember that your life in this present world is not all that matters.

Re: The Baptism Of Jesus Is The Antitype Of Salvation For Sinners by estheragha: 5:17pm On Sep 19, 2018
No matter how wealthy anyone may have been in this world, if he has no choice but be cast into the fire of hell and suffer in it, then this person’s life is a complete failure. In contrast, someone who has prepared the faith that can take him to the heavenly Kingdom of God has lived his life a hundred times better than someone who has to suffer so much in hell due to his nonchalance.

In this present age, worldly wealth is considered to be of supreme value. But at any rate, even if one is living in a rich country, and he is also individually wealthy, if he has not received the remission of sins, then he is as good as facing starvation. Even worse, his life in the next world will be far more wretched. Such a person, no matter who he may be, is truly pitiful.

Re: The Baptism Of Jesus Is The Antitype Of Salvation For Sinners by estheragha: 1:15pm On Sep 21, 2018
By any chance, are you thinking to yourself, “I don’t care what happens after my death? All that matters is that I enjoy a wealthy and comfortable life while I’m still alive”? This is absolutely not the case. Just as there is no gain without pain, what’s really important is the end result. Even if you are struggling a lot now, if at the end of the road you are able to reach your goal, and the end result of your present suffering is rewarding, then all has gone well. Your end must be better than your beginning. Only when your life ends well can you say that you’ve lived a truly worthy and meaningful life.

But then, even though one’s present life in the flesh does not mean anything, many people take this life as the standard to judge everything. Yet no matter how powerful, how rich, and how attractive people may be, if they havent received the remission of their sins, then they will all be cast into hell in the end; so of what use are all these things, even if they were to live for a hundred years in this world?

This world is filled with too many disasters and calamities. When we look at such signs, we can realize clearly that the days of this world are numbered. For most people, however, the present age may seem like the most peaceful and quiet age. So they sit around all day long, eating and drinking without a care, and even though calamities are breaking out endlessly, it’s hard to find anyone who has any sense of urgency, as most people have become desensitized.

Intoxicated by the world, they are going about their everyday lives as though nothing is going to happen to them. However, the Lord said, “As the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be” (Matthew 24:37). In other words, our Lord will come when people least suspect His return, when they are busy eating and drinking, dancing and singing, and committing sin without any inhibition.

Therefore, wise people will in these apparent last days, seek above everything else, the means to receive concrete remission of their sins as no one actually knows when they will take their last breath.

The gospel of water and spirit that God has given to us is the sure and only means to receive concrete and true remission of sin.

-l did not receive the cleansing of all my sins by saying my prayers of repentance. I did not receive the forgiveness of the sins by fasting and much prayer. I did not receive the cleansing of sins by praying all night either. Instead, I received the cleansing of my sins only when I believed in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. There was nothing I could do or work for to receive this gift of salvation. If the sins of the people were transferred over to their sacrificial animals by the laying on of hands in the Old Testament,( Lev 16:21), then surely Jesus our sacrificial Lamb had to take the sins of the world upon Himself by receiving the BAPTISM of laying on of hands from the last high priest of the Old Testament by the same method in the New Testament. In this manner, He made me sinless and righteous before Him. VISIT www.bjnewlife.org to learn more!

There is the Book of life in Heaven. The names of those who believe in the redemption of the water and the Spirit are recorded in the Book, so they will enter Heaven. They enter Heaven not because they haven't sinned in this world, but because they have been delivered from all their sins by believing in the redemption of the water and the Spirit. It is the law of faith"

Re: The Baptism Of Jesus Is The Antitype Of Salvation For Sinners by estheragha: 5:43pm On Oct 11, 2018
Salvation is something that we receive by faith, not by a method of reaching sanctification through human efforts.

It is not right to think that we were righteous yesterday because we did not sin yesterday, but are sinners today because we have committed sins today. We are born as sinners. Whatever we do, we will still be sinners. This is why we should be redeemed through faith in the baptism of Jesus.

Re: The Baptism Of Jesus Is The Antitype Of Salvation For Sinners by estheragha: 11:55am On Oct 13, 2018
Now , even though all the salvation has been perfected, people falling into the fire of hell is because they had believed in Jesus with their own philosophy, DISREGARDING the written word of God.

Mat 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

Re: The Baptism Of Jesus Is The Antitype Of Salvation For Sinners by estheragha: 1:03pm On Oct 15, 2018
People must know and believe properly in order to receive salvation. Even though one might regard himself or herself to be of good faith, if they believe in the Word of God wrongfully, the result will be hell, and not salvation

WHAT IS THE TRUE GOSPEL

The true gospel is the one that enables us to be free of our sins completely, once and for all when we believe in it. The power of the gospel of God is that of dynamite!

The gospel of God is that, "Jesus Christ settled the debt for the debtor (sinner), who cannot possibly settle his own debt." The reason for calling this gospel 'dynamite' is because when we had to die for our sins and go to hell to be judged, the Son of God became the sacrificial offering for us in order to blot out all our sins.
He came to this world and took on all the sins of the world through His baptism in the Jordan and washed away all our sins forever.

Jesus paid the wages of our sins by taking away all our sins with His baptism in the Jordan and by dying on the Cross. Jesus blew up all the sins of the world like dynamite with His BAPTISM and BLOOD. This is the true gospel.
The true gospel is that Jesus came to this world and by being baptized and bleeding on the Cross, saved all those who believe in Him.
As it is written in 1 John 5:6, "This is He who came by water and blood-Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water, and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth."

WE CAN NEVER ATTAIN SALVATION BY BELIEVING ONLY IN THE DEATH OF JESUS , EXCLUDING THE WATER OF HIS BAPTISM

WHY?

BECAUSE SALVATION WAS ACHIEVED NOT ONLY BY WATER NOR ONLY BY BLOOD BUT BY WATER AND BLOOD! (1 John 5:6)
Re: The Baptism Of Jesus Is The Antitype Of Salvation For Sinners by estheragha: 8:18pm On Oct 19, 2018
“Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world !”

The Lamb mentioned here is in expression of Jesus as the lamb who has vicariously become the sacrificial offering for all humankind, just like the sacrificial animal in the Old Testament that died on behalf of people. On behalf of you and me, the Son of God, our Creator, came to this earth and blotted out all your sins as well as mine by His BAPTISM and BLOODSHED. In order to take on and atone for all the sins – the original sin, personal sins, all the sins of trespasses, and whatever wicked sins – that every single human being commits from the days of the Creation until the end of this earth, Jesus received the baptism from John and shed blood on the Cross.

Re: The Baptism Of Jesus Is The Antitype Of Salvation For Sinners by estheragha: 4:53pm On Oct 22, 2018
God, when He created the heavens and the earth in the beginning, also created the eternal worlds, Heaven and hell. He created mankind in His own image, but, since the first man, Adam, sinned before God, all people have to die once. “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). The death of our flesh is the passageway to eternal life. Those who are without sin shall enter the eternal world of Heaven and everlastingly enjoy being the children of God, while sinners will be thrown into “the lake of fire and brimstone” (Revelation 20:10) and be tormented day and night for all eternity.

Re: The Baptism Of Jesus Is The Antitype Of Salvation For Sinners by estheragha: 6:11am On Oct 25, 2018
Therefore, all of humankind must be born again. We have to be born again through our faiths, be redeemed from all our sins and become RIGHTEOUS. For only then can we enter the eternal Kingdom of Heaven. The Bible says, “Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God” (John 3:5). “To be born again of water and the Spirit” is the only way we can enter the eternal Kingdom of God.

Re: The Baptism Of Jesus Is The Antitype Of Salvation For Sinners by estheragha: 11:55am On Oct 26, 2018
What, then, is this ‘water’ and ‘the Spirit’ that allows us to be born again? The ‘water’ in the Bible refers to ‘the baptism of Jesus.’

Why was Jesus, who is God, baptized by John the Baptist? Was it to show His humility? Was it to proclaim Himself the Messiah? No, it wasn’t. When Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist by means of ‘the laying on of hands’ (Leviticus 16:21), it was ‘one Man’s righteous act’ (Romans 5:18), which took away all the sins of humankind.
Re: The Baptism Of Jesus Is The Antitype Of Salvation For Sinners by estheragha: 7:13pm On Oct 27, 2018
In the Old Testament, God gave Israel the merciful law of redemption. This was so that on the Day of Atonement, all the sins of Israel for that year could be expiated through the High Priest, Aaron, by laying his hands on the head of the ‘scapegoat’ and passing all the sins onto that scapegoat.

These were the words of revelation, which foretold the sacrifice of eternal atonement. It revealed the truth that all the sins of humanity would be passed onto Jesus all at once, who came in the flesh of a man, according to the will of the Father. And He was baptized by John the Baptist who was the descendant of Aaron and the representative of all humankind.

When Jesus was baptized, He said to John, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness” (Matthew 3:15). Here, ‘for thus’ means ‘by the laying on of hands,’ in order to pass all the sins of the world onto Jesus, so that all righteousness might be fulfilled for all of us. The word ‘righteousness’ is ‘dikaiosune’ in Greek, and its meaning is “the fairest state” or “to be just in character or deeds with the implication of being righteous or fitting.”
