Innoson, Nigeria's first indigenous car manufacturing plant located in Nnewi, Anambra state has added another feather to it's cap by making its production like automated. "Innoson is the FIRST (and only company) mass producing Made-In-Nigeria cars, something most African countries only dream of.But unfortunately, Buhari & Osinbajo have not been able to pay a courtesy visit to Innoson and at least say, "Well done." This visit should be a way of encouragement and boost in the moral of Buy Nigeria To Grow the Naira mantra", said Stanley Nwabia, one of the residents of Nnewi.


"It is pertinent to note that before the emergence of INNOSON as an indigenous automobile manufacturing company it was a mere pipe dream and almost impossible to realise. Today, INNOSON has broken the jinx and shown with their innovation, that indeed it is possible to manufacture automobiles in black Africa and Nigeria in particular", Chukwudi Enekwechi added while applauding the company on the rare technological feat the company has achieved during the Award Ceremony at Nnamdi Azikiwe University.



Today, INNOSON’S venture into local automobile manufacturing has spurred other companies to embark on local production of vehicles. Presently companies like NISSAN, TOYOTA, MECEDEZ, DANGOTE are emulating the good example of INNOSON in this direction.

Innoson can increase his production capacity and profit making by aligning with the Head of Civil Service of the Federation and NLC and TUC in a way of giving out his cars to workers so that they will pay installmently annually or in 15months. Through this means many Nigerians will own a car and motor parts will be produced to stem the wear and tear of these cars in future. Once this is done other African countries will follow our pattern. And finally, more production will lead to more invention.
