if you want to update it then unroot it back. That's what u can do less you brick ur device

i have been warned severally when carrying out an update on my spark about rooting so i have never wanted trying it for that reason, but now you are saying i can unroot a rooted device? wont it still have consequences when you want to update?

It can be rooted bro. If you can't do this, I can help you out, download teamviewer.exe connect me on Eamuxtech then I will root it through that process, you must have a good internet service

it's kingroot, can it root android v7(nougat) now?

You can't root a xiaomi phone via method because you need to unlock your bootloader and that takes 15days before you would get permission to do so. Modify your topic, not all xiaomi phones.
