Lady Gaga is just trying to be the new Madonna, which takes some doing in 2010 since we think we've seen everything. Technically a very good video. Crisp choreography. The religious images are just for shock value. I won't take them too seriously.

Song even sounds a bit like Madonna. The video i think was directed by one of those directors who works with Madonna hence the similarity. I actually didn't even notice the religious symbolism in the video. But the gay symbolism on the other hand, that's what i noticed right of. I like the song
