Former Juventus CEO Luciano Moggi has claimed Cristiano Ronaldo has “already signed” for the Italian giants.

The 80-year-old tried to sign the Sporting Lisbon youth prospect when he was 18, but Ronaldo ended up going to Manchester United instead.

The Old Lady are in pole position to sign the Real Madrid superstar and are keen to do an £88million deal for the 33-year-old.

And Moggi has claimed Cristiano had a medical in Munich, where he agreed terms before heading off for a post-season break.

He told Tele7Gold: “In my opinion, he already signed and already did the medical tests in Munich.”

Reports in Italy claim Juventus “have approved” the sales of Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala in order to make room in their budget for Cristiano.

The attacking duo have been a key part of the club’s domestic success in recent years, but have not taken them to the top of Europe.

But they are both popular figures in Turin and the fanbase are likely to be sceptical over any sale of Dybala.

According to reports, Ronaldo has accepted a £500,000-a-week salary at Juventus, as his move from Real Madrid gathers momentum.

The Portuguese superstar is finally ready to leave the Bernabeu for £88million, after nine years at the club.

Dybala and Higuain are much loved in Turin
Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri tweeted: “Cristiano Ronaldo-Juventus: Juve have approved the plan to sell Higuain and Dybala to make room in their budget.

“Pjanic could stay if Fiat sponsors Cristiano.

“TONIGHT meeting Florentino-Mendes.”

And the Italian giants are ready to pay the big bucks to land the player who scored one of the great Champions League goals against them last season.
