AN APPEAL FOR YOUR EXCELLENCY IMMEDIATE INTERVENTION AND CANCELLATION OF TODAY’S KANGAROO AND SECRET ELECTION OF EKE AWKA MARKET EXECUTIVES COMMITTEE


We the aggrieved traders and aspirants in Eke Awka Market humbly write to protest and seek your Excellency intervention on the above subject matter.
As traders, that massively voted for your re-election as working governor of Anambra State, we find it necessary and proper to bring to your Excellency notice on the above subject matter.
That the third tenure of the Present Executive of Eke Awka Market is due to expire today being 6th day of July 2018.

That the said Executive fail to set up an election committee for timely preparation of the election into the vacant positions executive of Eke Awka Market.
That the Present Chairman, Emeka Jude Agumadu has orchestrated plan to elongate his tenure for the fourth times through an undemocratic election.
That we the traders and aspirants can only participate in an election that is properly and democratically organize in line with Eke Awka Market Constitution, hence our appeal for your intervention.
We hereby urge your Excellency to direct and put on hold the election of Eke Awka Market Executives secretly planned to hold today for the overall interest of the traders and maintenance of peace in Eke Awka Market.
