One of the exceptionally regarded Gospel preachers in Benin City and General Overseer of the Divinie Grace of Glory Church Universal, Minister Diminish Israel Obaseki, has portrayed the killings in the country as exasperating, including that those behind them are foes of Nigeria's solidarity.
Obaseki, who has the greatest home for the penniless in Benin-City and is the proprietor of More Grace Satellite Television, talked amid a media conference with newsmen in Benin-City at the end of the week.
"Nigeria is extremely going through difficult circumstances. As a godly man, I am not content with the killings that are going ahead in Nigeria. The inquiry I truly need to ask is, do Nigerians know who these executioners are, do we know the individuals who are doing this."
''In some cases they call them herdsmen. Is it truly herdsmen that are doing this? Once in a while they say Boko Haram. Do Nigerians know the general population in charge of this devastation? Truly it isn't fitting to advise Christians to wage war and battle back.
''Christians will dependably leave retaliation for God. It isn't in reality great to execute pure individuals on everyday schedule. I think the way things are going now, the Central Government simply needs to mediate. Nigerians the nation over must hold hands with government to put a conclusion to it. Christians in Nigeria are appealing to God for the tranquility of Nigeria, they are putting forth a valiant effort'' .
