We are in possession of evidence to prove that some politicians are behind the killings allegedly being carried out by herdsmen in parts of the country, said the The Presidency on Sunday

It said the unnamed politicians were using criminals to perpetuate the killings.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said this in a statement via his twiter handle

As President Buhari indicated lately, there is evidence of involvement of some politicians using criminals to perpetuate the killings.
Shehu, however, said climate change, especially the drying up of the Chad Basin, has also been compounding the problem.

Then this goes a long way to implicate;
1).The APC government that it have lied & have continued to lie to Nigerians as the narrative have kept changing from anti-grazing law, lack of cattle ranching facilities, Gaddaffi-trained foreigners, failure of affected people to cooperate with these killer foreigners, then to the politicians theory now.

2).The government of course have failed in the primary responsibility of government-protection of life & property by being complicit in these gruesome killing since it claimed to have info but never publicly identified,arrest, prosecute, convict or punished the perpetrators. angry
Never seen such a foolish clueless, incompetent and irresponsible government. undecided
