Since Christian leaders have been speaking up against the killings carried out by Fulani herdsmen in the middle belt and southern parts of Nigeria, some quarters have condemned them with claims that they are politicizing the killings and using it to paint the administration of president Buhari as evil.

Part of those who have issued such words is MURIC and other Muslim bodies who claim that the Christian Associaton of Nigeria (CAN) has no right to be angered by the killings because it is not only Christians that are getting killed, even though most of the attacked communities are Christian dominated.

Now, if it is not only Christians that are getting killed by the herdsmen, it must mean that Muslims, Pagans and Traditionalists are also getting killed. I have just few questions to ask:

1.) How come it is only Christian leaders that are speaking up against the killings?

2.) Why aren't leaders of those other affected groups speaking up (that's if they are affected)?

3.) Why are Muslim/Pagans/Traditionalist leaders not bothered about their people whom they claim are also affected?

4.) Why are Muslim leaders trying to caution Christians from calling out the government over poor intervention?

5.) Why is MURIC so concerned about CAN speaking up against the killings?
