Armed robbery victim in Niger state overpowers attackers after being shot

The police command in Niger have arrested two suspected robbers in Tunga New Bussa in the Borgu local government area of the state. “Armed robbery victim in Niger state overpowers attackers after being shot”.

– Two Niger state robbers, Isah Kabiru (22 years) and Abdullahi Musa (30 years), have been arrested by the police command

– The victim of the suspects, Gado Aliyu, informed newsmen that he overpowered and attacked the robbers after he was shot and injured by one of them

– Kabiru confessed to his crime and promised to refrain from robbery, if he is forgiven and freed from police net


The suspects identified as Isah Kabiru (22 years) and Abdullahi Musa (30 years) were had attacked and injured a victim, Gado Aliyu, after he refused to give them money, Punch reports.

Kabiru revealed to newsmen that he did not intend to kill his victim, claiming that that he only wanted to obtain money from Aliyu. He said: “God knows, I was actually looking for money from him to settle some bills, I didn’t have the intention to pull the trigger on him; it was accidental.”

He expressed regrets over his action and begged the police for forgiveness, and promising never to return to stealing if he is freed.
