Its easy to fix

Open the hard drive (carefully)


You'll see the read and write head on the disk
Remove it carefully away from the disk

DON'T TOUCH THE DISK

Blow any dust away from the disk

Close it back



Explanation : normally the read and write head should not touch the disk
But when it does it gets stuck hence producing that clicking noise
