Finance Minister facilitates Multi- million projects to country home

* As kinsmen commend her feat



The Finance Miniter, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun has facilitated multimillion naira projects to her country home, Ayila town, Ogun Waterside local government council, Ogun State.

Some of the projects included five block of classrooms, Boreholes, Construction of Ayede/ Ayila road, building of bridge.

When visited, it was glaring for all to see the impact of the finance Minister on the town.

Speaking to journalists, a community leader, Mr Ajilotan Felix said the town has witnessed the Federal Government presence in the community since the appointment of the daughter of the soil.

He revealed that the presence has brought progress and development to the town, saying she he been fulfilling the promises she made with her constituents.


The community leader noted that her interest in building the capacity of the sons and daughters had made her to construct a block of five classrooms in Ayila was among the first phase of projects in the educational sector facilitated by the Finance Minister.


He said Adeosun's love for her source had actually prompted her to facilitate construction of Ayede to Ayila road by RCC Construction company, adding that a multi-million naira borehole has been completed to end the years of water scarcity in the land.

The Finance Minister, according to Felix, ends the long years of pains suffered in crossing the body of water between Ayila and Okebi by building a bridge for them.

She said all sons and daughters of the town were proud of the Minister, saying her appointment has uplift their town.

" From time immemorial, travelling to Okebi has been by boat, but as soon as Adeosun became the Finance Minister, she promised and built a good bridge on the water for us. Now, everybody goes to Okebi by vehicle or motorbike".

"From all of us here, I mean the entire people of Ayila, we are proud of the Minister, because we have began to feeling relieve from past years of difficulties resulted from lack of what I will referred to as social security. Roads in Ayila are now motorable, we have stable source of water through the borehole she dug for us. There are additional classrooms facilitated by her. So, we believe she is doing well".

"I want to emphasize that we are proud of our Kemi Adeosun our sister, mother, granny, as good role model and diligent Ambassador.", he concluded.


Another stakeholder in Ayila, simple identified as Afred commended her and urged her to assist more in giving employment opportunity to Ayila youths as the town have produce good numbers of graduates but unemployed.

He appealed to the Minister to use her good office to get Ayila - out of fifteen years of darkness by facilitating electricity to the town.

Alfred noted, though, we are feeling her impact, but we need more, saying "In the area of health, for example, the primary health care in Ayila does not have enough provision to care for the aged population".

“We want to assure her of our prayers as she makes us proud as a good ambassador - an AYILAN”.
