When you have over 100 million of very poor people living in a country, then crimes will be the order of day in such a place. My take is that it will get worst, if we refuse to begin to solve the problems of this country.

That starts with electing competent leaders that run the country and states like a business. Running government like a business eliminates waste spending and stealing. Do CEOs of companies steal their organization's monies and take them to other countries?

Do they waste their company's moneys on white elephant projects? Do they inflate contracts to steal or connive with their vendors to defraud their organizations so their companies lose money and potentially go out of business, which is how our government is operated?

If states are run like a business, we will see that every state can create massive amounts of employment opportunities because we'll then be able to take advantage of our land resources.

Malaysia is developed using agriculture - palm oil in particular. So, not idiot should say the Agric sector cannot create jobs. Imagine what will happen if every governor uses all unused lands in their state to setup plantation-style farms.

Food, raw materials, export revenues, and jobs will abound if this is done. Then we can use the raw materials to develop and power the next phase of industrialization in terms of processing and value addition, and creation of totally new foods and products based on our unique environment.

We can do it. Let us do this, otherwise, crime will consume everybody eventually. Everyone will be a victim of a crime regardless of whether you live in Abuja or in Lekki if we fail to fix this country.
