the task manager o my lappy has bn disabled probably by a virus or spyware. if i try to ope it, it says 'it has bn disabled by system administrator', but i didn't do it myself and i use the lappy alone. i do not want to format.

pls how do i re-enable it?

Download Smart virus removal software.

It will solve the problem.

Get a good antivirus like Karspersky or Eset Smart Security, Scan and do an upgrade of your OS(Using the OS Installation CD) to patch it.

It's a malware. If you can download Combo fix it will fix everything for you. Search for it on Google. I has saved my PC lot of times.

here we go, follow this method.

First we'll begin with the various registry modification methods for correcting this problem.

Method 1 - Using the Group Policy Editor in Windows XP Professional

   1. Click Start, Run, type gpedit.msc and click OK.
   2. Under User Configuration, Click on the plus (+) next to Administrative Templates
   3. Click on the plus (+) next tSystem, then click on Ctrl+Alt+Delete Options
   4. Find Remove Task Manager in the right-hand pane and double click on it
   5. Choose the option "Not Configured"  and click Ok.
   6. Close the Group Policy Window
