Ahead of the 2019 general election, Bayelsa State Government has finished up plans to begin sensitization program on the need for qualified voters in the state to choose the right kind of leaders.

The sensitisation program, which will start next month will include series of social and electronic media engagement, especially in the various local dialects.

commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson, unveiled this in Yenagoa during a visit to a few media organisations in the state.

Iworiso-Markson said it was critical to begin the discussion of having credible people run and win elective positions to maintain the legacies of the current administration.

He encouraged the people to prepare and utilize their PVCs to vote in people with the right attitude, driven by the passion for service and not greed, inordinate ambition and other parochial interests.
