A Customs Officer attached to the Seme Border Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, Lagos reportedly crushed his colleagues, in a tragic accident on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway on Saturday.

The deceased were in a Toyota Camry with the number plate, YLA 121 BJ at a checkpoint, when they were crushed by their colleague, who drove a Toyota Avalon, with number plate, YAB 366 JY. It was gathered that the two crushed customs officers died on the spot, while the driver of the Avalon was said to be unconscious at the Intensive Care Unit of the Badagry General Hospital, where he was receiving treatment.

While an eyewitness alleged that the accident was caused by a burst tyre, security sources confirmed that the officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps, led by the Badagry unit Commander, Fatai Bakare, has deposited the remains of the deceased in a morgue.
The eyewitness said;

 “The incident happened around 7.45am on Saturday at Gbaji checkpoint. The customs officers were crushed to death by a Toyota Avalon driven by another customs officer of the same command.

“His car was descending the Gbaji Bridge and heading for Seme when one of his tyres burst. He lost control, thereby sending the two officers to their death.”

Speaking to newsmen, the customs unit commander, Bakare, however, said the accident was caused by speeding.

“The customs officers were inside their vehicle at one of the checkpoints on the Lagos-Seme Road. The driver of the Avalon was on top speed when he crashed into them. He veered off the road and rammed into them. The two customs officers died on the spot, while the man responsible for the accident is in a coma" he said.

Saidu Abdulahi, the Public Relations Officer of the NCS, Seme Command who confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as Usman and Kabiru,also confirmed that the driver of the Avalon was a customs officer and identified him as George.

He said, “On Saturday, July 14, 2018, I received reports of an incident involving three officers of the Seme Area Command at Gbaji checkpoint. Usman and Kabiru were involved in a ghastly motor accident which resulted in their fatalities.

“The driver of the other vehicle, George, is currently on admission at a general hospital.”

Something God give peole what they want than what he wants.
Nigeria is just like the case of Samuel, Saul and the Israelites. God wanted a judge but Israel wanted a king and God gave them Saul which they leta regreted.
May God help us in this country.

... Some people prefer looking for justice using African Traditional System. in Igbo land it is called "offor na ogu" and "itu iyi"" it works with guaranteed results within a very short time frame especially if you are innocent and upright.

In my mother's village it costs just one kolanut with 4 stalks and 200naira worth of gun powder handed over to the eldest whose role it is to intermediate. . (a kind of Court registrar). They warn the victim to be sure he has not soiled his hand in anything like murder, abortion etc lest he will first have a share of the wrath of the land.
The victim then enters the clearly marked land area stark Unclad and complain about the injustice. They burn the gun powder and Pronto results start unfolding in 4 days or less.

It's not juju, far from it. I've witnessed it such that you will be sorry for the assailants. No wonder most of this trigger happy and so called gallant police officers keep dying suddenly and shamefully

This is the more reason why law enforcers should be careful the way they treat people but they don't care so long as money is made. See men wasting away in violent deaths because their matter has been handed to a shrine.
