Removes N228B from N578B inserted by lawmakers

President Muhammadu Buhari Tuesday heightened tension between the executive and the legislature as he moves to retrieve monies added by the lawmakers to the 2018 Budget and vire it to his chosen projects as well as fund 2019 elections to the tune of N242 billion

President Buhari in a letter sent to National Assembly dated July 11 which addressed to Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki explained that Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Security agencies have submitted their requests in preparation for 2019 general elections.
