Depends on what caused the crash. If it was mechanical failure or a second party or some stuff, then its okay. On the other hand if you went on a drunken rage, then you get nada. That's why the cops are there to find out what happened and insurance will liaise with MTA to do that.

Anyway for a car like that insurance will give you a long list of don'ts together with a hefty premium package and if you are under 20 and unmarried they won't even bother.
