Firstly, clap for me because I read the whole story even with your poor paragraphing and typo errors.

Secondly, not many people would be patient to read it all so I will do a short summary for the kids here that will spew trash and for the elders that can advise and encourage you.

SUMMARY
1. The OP was in a bad relationship

2. The OP met a poor yoruba guy

3. The Op jump from the poor yoruba guy to a new Igbo rich guy

4. The Op marry the Igbo guy because of money

First step to attaining freedom;

1. Call your sisters and put all the blames on them for distorting your life.

2. Repeat step 1, this time to your brothers.

3. Repeat step 2, this time to your mother.

4. Continue to blame everyone but yourself.

5. The moment you stop blaming everyone for your misfortunes, you'll attain freedom. You're to blame for all the decisions you made over the years.

Except on grounds of domestic violence, no competent magistrate will grant you divorce. Poverty, recession, joblessness won't stand the test. It is assumed that love is/was the basis of your marriage so a competent magistrate will expect you to endure it all with all sense of responsibility.

If all the blames and jabs are thrown at you, you deserve it , even much more.when this started, according to you, you have graduated and was on the train to NYSC so you were not a kid, you only used that line to save face. Simply put, you and your family are leeches. You got what best fit you.
As a woman, when things were going on well, you didn't help him save and think of what to do to keep the income flowing ? All you did was buy material stuff and chase after a government job with 2million? You are a vitreous woman!
This isn't about you leaving the Yoruba guy, but you and your family feeding off someone till he he was drained.
You didn't take your time you we're too fast because money was involved. The guy was there for you when he had, so be there for him now he doesn't have.

He started beating you because he is now frustrated , so mind how you talk back at him.
Don't sit at home and claim the victim.
Go out there and look for a job and take care of you and your family and plan out how your hubby could get back to his feet again.
And just so you know, you write poorly as a graduate.
