This one isn't on tech world though, this is 'driving'.

The first programmer is a woman...let that sink in for a moment.

There is something called subconscious bias. Basically, you act like a jerk to women but you really don't know you are doing it, once confronted you deny it but then you do it because she is a woman. If at a job interview, a female interviewee bargains hard like a 'man', you subconsciously like her a little less because you are not expecting a woman to be that difficult. Sometimes your salary offer may be less in comparison to what you will offer a man with the same qualification. You may be less inclined to give her a job because of that.

And so on many examples.

I am not complaining nor am I tagging these men beasts. I find it hard to blame them for the bias. My problem is the way it is handled once confronted with reality. A good sensible person will make amends and be more conscious of how his subconscious and stereotypes affect how he acts. This person will self reflect and try and work towards a more liberal approach to the opposite sex.

Now, my opinion is not dismissive of the fact that some women are liars, incompetent, complacent and manipulative however thesee do not change the reality of 'most' women in the labour market.

This gender equality thing sha.

Because of "gender inequality" there are hundreds of foundations and free vocational schools for females all around the world. Males end up working their asses off to enter and pay for the same trainings in institutions.

It's unfair to the male -folk too. Their call for equality has only brought inequality.

I think some of these women need to realise they don't just wake up and decide where and when they don't wanna be discriminated against. Same way most of these women won't hire a male nanny, that's how some men won't want a female driver.
