JOB SUMMARY
Tests parameters of drilling fluids to verify that they meet the criteria needed based off of subsurface ground conditions. Makes recommendations based off of those test results to monitor for chemical interactions between the drilling fluid and the ground.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure the project is matching the slurry to ground conditions and can quickly adapt to unforeseen changes in soil conditions

2. Field service can be short or long term requests.

3. Treat, avoids problems, and mitigate downtime

4. Test parameters of drilling fluids to verify that they meet the criteria needed based off of subsurface ground conditions

5. Make recommendations based off of those test results to monitor for chemical interactions between the drilling fluid and the ground

6. Manage annular pressures by maximizing design qualities of drilling fluid products, at the lowest possible viscosity.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree / HND in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
Mechanical design skills; Computer aided design experience
At least 4 years of chemical/gas/slurry delivery systems operations experience.
Familiarity with chemical/gas/slurry systems troubleshooting and strong mechanical aptitude.
Experience in managing and leading projects including design/specification, bidding, and field coordination.
Aptitude for documentation and data analysis.
Fab engineering experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
Ability to work overtime / on non-scheduled days as required.
