Favour Christopher Ephraim (Born 3 August 1997) better known by his stage name Youngstarry, is a Nigerian recording artiste, singer and songwriter. He is not currently signed to any record label. Youngstarry won Eastern Obolo Artiste of the Year 2017 Award. His debut single, Ugbana, featuring rapper Shirlybrowndy was released on March 2016.

Life and career

Youngstarry was born into a Christian family, his father and mother from Eastern Obolo Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State. He grew up in a disciplinarian setting because of the nurture of the parent he completed his secondary school at the age of 19, and started recording his first song in 2016. Shebonkybeatz produced all of his earlier songs and he is currently working with the award winning producer for other projects. He derived his stage name ‘Youngstarry’ during secondary school days when people always call him Star Boy so he came across Starry in the Dictionary and fell in love with the name and decided to make it Youngstarry.

Youngstarry is currently studying Agricultural Engineering at the University of Uyo, Uyo, Akwa ibom State. He cited God as his biggest inspiration and Reekado Banks, Runtownn Malek Berry, 1da Banton, Shebongkybeatz and King Perry as his key musical inspirations.

2016–present: Singles recorded

Youngstarry premiered his first official single “Flashback” on 27 January 2017, two months later he released ‘Ekene Obelek’ which is still trending on Inspiration fm 105.9 Uyo, Youngstarry released “Ngba Ndiak” on 14 August 2017; a song which he preached unity. He released Nyarinya ft Iceskally on 12 May 2017. On 25 May 2018, Youngstarry collaborate with Supreme Rich Dynasty superstar, Paparazzi to release another song ‘Obolo’. On June 2018, He teams up with one of Port Harcourt finest singer, Mogrin to deliver another single “Move” same month and year he released “GLS Sabi” which is dedicate to award winning and talented movie director “Oboloprince GLS”
