2019: PDP’s presidential candidate may emerge September 30

The Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate for the 2019 general election may emerge on September 30, The PUNCH learnt on Thursday .

A preliminary timetable for the party ’ s primaries , which was prepared by the national leadership of the former ruling party , also showed that the governorship candidates might emerge on September 21.

The document also showed that the primary for those interested in going to the Senate would hold on September 18, while that of the House of Representatives comes up four days earlier, which is September 14 .

The party has also tentatively scheduled its primary for the State Houses of Assembly for September 8 .

Local government congresses , where delegates are to be elected, have also been slated for August 31 , while that of the wards, where three ward ad hoc delegates are to be elected, are scheduled for August 25.

All aspirants interested in any elective position on the platform of the party are expected to start buying their nomination forms from August 13.

However , members of the National Executive Committee of the party are expected to ratify the proposal before it becomes binding .

What will be ur gain APC Nationals LEADER? Is there any difference between the two? Are PDP not even better off than this blood sucking APC? Thant witch Hunt only there opponent? What stops us from forming a Movement for a new Nigeria, which seeks justice and fairness, where the lives of the masses are as valuable as thise that govern them, where everyone can have a fair shot at political and economic self realization.....Where religion and tribalism are played down.....

Deep down we know buhari, the APC and PDP are far from this vision so why we all dare to dream and act today rather than arguing behind PDP and APC who are essentially two sides of a valueless coin
