No matter the amount of disappointment we have in our leaders over how things keep getting worse in Nigeria, we still can't deny the fact that there are certain things we'd really not love to miss in the country.

There are those things that keep us thinking about how sweet our homeland is while we're away.

It could be our great culture/heritage, the many churches around us, the many dramas and fabricated news we see on social media everyday (although the Internet is everywhere), the food, schools or just anything.

For me, it's the food. I know we have Nigerian restaurants abroad but nothing beats homemade. That delicious jollof rice, edikaikong soup, egusi soup... They simply rock.
