South western states have clearly benefitted more under apc than pdp.for easier analysis we will lump the then AD under apc.lagos has been under opposition rule since 1999 from ad to ac to apc and these successive parties have done well.for ogun state,the state has recorded more feats and strides under amosun than under gbenga daniels.gbenga tried especially in tourism but amosun raised the revenue profile of the state,executed various projects and attracted several industries.for ondo state,agagu did well before he was removed.mimiko performed better when he was in labour party than when he joined pdp.looking at oyo,it is crystal clear that ajimobi did better than alao akala and ladoja.osun under apc/acn also fared better than under pdp/oyinlola.in summary,apc/ad/acn has benefitted the yorubas more than pdp.

In the south east,okorocha may be under criticism but he did better than his pdp predecessors like udenwa and ohakim.anambra had its greatest development under apga and towers above other south east states under pdp.
In the south south,only edo has been under another party other than pdp for long.edo has clearly fared better under oshiomhole and obaseki than under the igbinedions.they are better off than similar states like cross river,delta and bayelsa.only rivers and akwa ibom has done well under pdp leadership.
In summary,southern states have developed at a faster pace under apc/labour party,apga/acn than under pdp.
