We can only wait with bated breaths..

..,..A Lady living large on her husband's wealth, having spent £16 million in Harrods alone over the last 10 years, stand to lose her 2 London properties worth £22 million following placement of an Unexplained wealth order!!!!

It is alleged the husband, a former statebank officer from a non-EEA country, currently in jail for a £55 million fraud in their home country, helped fund her lifestyle.

Despite counterarguments from her QC, the onus has been placed on her to provide evidence supporting her lavish lifestyle.. Otherwise she is at risk of losing the homes and the £15 million trust fund belonging to her only child!!!

Interesting times ahead!!

Updates on UWOs.....

The high profile UWO case of a jailed banker's wife from an Eastern European country is in the news again.

Jewellery worth £400k has been recently seized from an auction house. It was to be auctioned with her daughter as proxy or new owner.. .. Possibly to raise funds

This opens up the playing field..........

The value of some of the objects in this case are well below the £50k benchmark but more importantly there is no clear congruent link with time of purchase or type of ownership of these objects with time of receipt of perceived proceeds of corruption(poc) . Its all assumed to be poc.

Now there's growing consideration to move the scope of investigation beyond ownership of houses/properties, cars, luxury items to investigating affordability of private schools and possibly university education. shocked lipsrsealed

I wonder who will be coughing up the money.. The schools or parents in the event of a successful order/conviction Poor child's education truncated.!!!

Looks like UK is about to put another nail in their declining 'education proceeds' coffin.

Germany, Netherlands and Sweden is looking exceptionally attractive grin grin

Foreign campuses of Ivy League schools will also appeal.
