Young talented singer, Weflo, has finally dropped the visual to his amazing single titled "Ise". The crispy, clean high definition video shot by Paul Gambit portrays Weflo in all his uniqueness and makes the song more appealing. The beauty of this song however is the fact that Weflo who is Igbo and goes by the name Ikenna Franklin Gerald from Enugu state, rendered prominent parts of the song in Yoruba language. And while his mates are singing about drugs, sex, fraud and other vices, Weflo has done an amazing party track, which at the same time is highly inspirational encouraging people to work hard and shun laziness. Infact "Ise" seems to be a breathe of fresh hair from all the Afropop songs/videos that have saturated the airwaves this year "Ise" which is a Yoruba word meaning "Work", passes the timeless message of hard work and living life to the fullness after all the hustle and bustle. Part of the lyrics goes; Eni to shishe lo ma jeun dada Eni to shishe lo ma kole mole Japa mo she ko ba le jeun dada eh [Meaning; he who works hard will eat well, he who works hard will build houses, take your work seriously so that you can eat well and achieve goodness] The young UNILAG graduate has proven that you can actually do a danceable, party/club worthy track without singing about negativity.
