Posterity will ever be kindest to PMB. We have rogues lawmakers who don't care a hoot about you as ordinary Nigerian.

Government is about intervention, regulation and protection. Government/Security apparatus will not sit and watch a group of people turn the country into theatre of war for their selfish interest.

You mean Fulani herdsman?
Yes, Government is very proactive in that regard.
All the fulani killers herdsmen have been arrested and jailed, that is how serious this government is.
Tell the BMC to increase your monthly stipend to enable you to do a better job.

Why is this Buhari so afraid of people leaving his party?

The APC is a sinking party. People should be allowed to leave APC, the same way they walk in and joined.

What is APC afraid of?

The entire Benue state assembly premises was taken over by security personnel(Police officers) who barred members from reconvening to deliberate on issues of urgent state importance earlier today.

PoliticsNGR learnt that Ad hoc committee chairman on publicity Rt.Hon. Paul Biam said no cogent reason had been given by the most senior security personnel as to why the assembly was besieged by the security except that he had superior orders from above to take charge.

Hon. Biam maintained that as law-abiding citizens they would not resort to resisting the security but rather search for an alternative venue to meet as they were duty bound by the constitution to sit at any location to do their legislative business.

While the recently impeached speaker Terkimbi Ikyange still maintains he remains speaker the ad hoc committee chairman on publicity said the issue of the dissolution of the assembly's previous leadership is certainly not in contention.

On the twenty-fourth of July, a vote of no confidence was passed on the previous leadership which led to their dissolution in which new leaders were elected.

Good One From The Police..

How can some group of renegades, empowered by the state governor, broke into the house of Assembly, which was duly adjourned for recess by the Speaker and purportedly impeach him..

If you support the rascality by the governor on this just know that:

That APC senators could with backing of the police break into the National Assembly and impeach Saraki without recourse to the recess.

That APC house of Assembly members in Ekiti State, could as well break into the Assembly and impeach the speaker without recourse to the adjournment duly carried out by the speaker.

I'm ashamed the way Nigerian youths reason all in the name of being anti Buhari. How can democracy survive were a state assembly duely adjourned reconvene just to impeach the speaker of the house because the state governor decamped to PDP.

With the way things are going, I hope buhari would be able to hand over power easily, should he lose next year. His antecedents as CPC presidential candidate after every election he contested was a proof. I forsee violence, it's glaring.

Police have no business there.More than the requirement for a quorum was formed before the impeachement so theres no basis for any contention that the speaker was impeached following due process. If he has any doubt cancel the recess and reconvene so that he could be duely impeached.. APC Change.. Buhari is a great leader!

Then you don't know Jack on how the legislature works. Do you know what is quorum? You mean even your Lord Saraki can be impeached by mere forming of quorum when the Senate was duly adjourned for recess?

Do you realize the police doesn't take orders from your PDP?

Do you know that the Police are there to implement the law and maintain it?

Do you know that quorum is just 1/3 of the house?

Go back to that ipob Hut you emanate from..

You have not addressed the issue.. 21+ Reps out of 30 impeached the speaker thats over the requirements by law, So the question of qurom is not important i just metioned it.You mean the house can only reconvene under the orders of the speaker? The national assembly member can seat anywhere within the confirm of the state,So that's not the issue.. exactly the same thing played out in 2014.Are you even from benue? Why do you have an opinion about a state you know nothing about?
