Almost everyone is on Facebook – Facebook has more than 1 billion daily active users. This means that nearly every demographic is well-represented. Most of these people come to Facebook to relax and socialize which means they may be more willing to engage with you on a personal level. That’s the opportunity right there, for your real estate agent marketing. If you really want to grow your real estate brand, then you have to find ways to encourage genuine engagement and increase your page’s conversion potential.

This can be accomplished by optimizing your Facebook page for both search and engagement. While optimizing for search entails work on the page’s anatomy and content, optimizing for engagement involves visually branding your Facebook page. Search engine visibility in conjunction with a high level of social media engagement can make your business rank higher than competitors and ultimately help grow your brand.

I’ve got some tips to help you stand out from the crowd, and grow your brand with proven Facebook tactics for real estate agent marketing.

Step 1: Sign up for Facebook

You have already? Good. Unless you’ve been living on a deserted island without internet, chances are you already have a Facebook account. If you don’t, go ahead and sign up on facebook here and then come back to follow the next steps.

Step 2: Create a Facebook Page

Agreed, personal pages are great and many Realtors have used them in the past to build a following on Facebook, a business page works even better. It will offer more features and benefits than a personal page.

If you don’t know how to create a business page for your real estate business, click on this.

Note: To choose a category for your page, select ”Local Business or Place”.

Come back after you’ve successfully created the page to continue.

Step 3: Enter Basic Information for your page

Welcome back. Now that you’ve created your business page, you will need to enter the information about your real estate business.
Category:

First choose a category. If you don’t find a ”real estate” category, just choose “property” or “Estate Agent”
Name of Business:

Now add the name of your real estate business. If you haven’t named your business yet, you might want to take the time to come up with a good name as you won’t be able to rename your page after you create it.
Address:

About what address to use, there are two schools of thought here. Some people suggest using your realtor address and some suggest using your home address. Personally, I would go with your home address as your realtor and other agents from your office will also be listed under your realtor address.
About and Basic Info:

Remember to complete the “About” and “Basic Info” sections of your page so that visitors will be able to learn more about you right off the bat. Add phone numbers and emails. Also provide links to your other social networking sites and website. Upload a high-resolution profile photo of yourself and an attractive cover photo that shows off your brand in some way. This could be your business logo as well. While there’s no defined formula for what type of photos and language you should use, be sure that it fits with your overall brand messaging.

Write a short description for your real estate business. You should use this space to tell your visitors what areas you work in, and anything that will help you stand out from the competition.
Username:

Create a username. Since your username will be in the URL of your Facebook page (e.g. www.facebook.com/examplerealtycompany/), make sure it’s short, and easy to spell and remember.

Step 4. Add a Call to Action Button

One of the coolest features that a Facebook business page offers is a customizable call to action button. To set one up, click on the blue “+ Add a Button” link right below your cover photo.

Facebook offers five categories of call to action buttons for you to choose from with subcategories for each one. Here are the ones you should choose for your real estate Facebook page:
Book Services

Book services allow your site visitors to book time with you via Facebook. There are two options relevant to your real estate business here:
Book Now:

Links out to your website.
Request Time:

Has your visitors fill out a (customizable) contact information form which is sent to you via Facebook Messenger.
Get in Touch

As you can imagine get in touch allows visitors to your page to contact you. Here are the options that are most useful for Realtors:
Call Now

Lets site visitors call you with a tap on their phone. This is the option that many Realtors will prefer.
Contact Us

Links out to your website.
Send Email

Lets page visitors email you with a single click or tap on their phone.
Learn More

Learn more either links out to your website or a video on Facebook. Here are the options you’ll most likely want to use:
Watch Video

Lets you link to a video on your website or Facebook Video.
Learn More

Place Links out to your website.

Step 5: Create your first post

Okay, you’re almost there! The last step in building your real estate Facebook page is to create an introductory post that will welcome visitors to your new page. Click on the box below your cover photo that says “Write Something.” Write up a quick introductory post, or better yet, record an introductory video.

You might look at the page of another real estate agent you admire, or even the page of a consumer brand that you think does a great job updating their page and posting relevant content. Decide what type of tone you would like to have on Facebook based on the audience you aim to target.
Invite Your Friends to Like Your Page

Okay, you’ve created your page, but that doesn’t mean people will come…yet. You have to invite them . Now that you have a brand new real estate Facebook page, you need to share it with your sphere. In order to get started, click on the “…” link just below your cover photo and click on “Invite Friends” from the drop down menu.

Step 6: Add Creative contents and promote your Page

Here comes the fun part! It’s time to start gathering content to share on your Facebook page. The great thing about Facebook, is that it is a platform designed to promote interesting, shareable content. This can be anything from beautiful photos, cartoons, memes, videos or relevant articles.

Some real estate agents have found success in posting information that demonstrates their knowledge in the real estate industry.

Here’s what you should think about when creating content: (too long to continue typing here: please follow link to continue. https://www.paulsinsight.com/grow-your-real-estate-brand-through-facebook/
