SOCIAL MEDIA DRIVES POLITICS IN CONTEMPORARY WORLD - PRINCE GBOYEGA FAMODUN

The Chairman of All Progressives Congress in the State of Osun, Prince Gboyega Famodun has eulogized the important roles social media plays in contemporary politics.

The Chairman of the ruling party in the state dropped this hint today Sunday 29th, July at his residence in Osogbo the State capital while receiving members of R-Connect, a social media group that has been consistently enlightening, educating and defending the government of All Progressives Congress in the South Western Nigeria and beyond.

In his words, the APC State Chairman said the roles of social media cannot be underestimated as it is a veritable tool that provides real-time information, ideas and opinions within the shortest time in which it ultimately guide the opinion of the members of the public.

Prince Gboyega Famodun also commended the team for putting up their talents, skills and resources to broadcast the programmes and policies of the government of APC without a specific corresponding benefits.

He however charged the team to continue to work harder for the success of the party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state as he assured that better days is ahead.
