A man who describes himself as a motivational speaker, Rex David, says he has refunded the $3,000 that was allegedly mistakenly credited to his bank account.

The self-described shrewd entrepreneur said he operates an account with the Bank of America.

David, who says he is a social influencer claims that a teller with the American multinational financial services company, which is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, mistakenly transferred $3,000 to his bank account.

The philanthropist said that upon receiving alert to that effect, he walked into the nearest branch of the Bank of America and issued a cheque to make for refund.

“The manager couldn’t stop thanking me, while the lady that made the error was almost in tears,” Mr. David said.
