Police nab woman for selling granddaughter, 275 others in A-Ibom By Lolo Ayaba The Police in Akwa Ibom State have arrested a grandmother, Ekaette Obot, for allegedly stealing and selling of her granddaughter for N200,000. https://newsbeatsngr.com/police-nab-woman-for-selling-granddaughter-275-others-in-a-ibom/ Obot, who claimed to be 27-year-old, stated that does menial job and that she sold the child to free her daughter, Blessing Okon (18) from the burden of motherhood. Commissioner of Police, Adeyemi Ogunjemilusi, said Obot who is also pregnant, confessed to the Police that as soon as she puts to bed she will sell the baby. |
